General Instructions:
1. All relevant details regarding the examination, including this brochure, will be made available on the official website of King George’s Medical University, U.P., Lucknow: https://www.kgmu.org
2. The examination form and fee submission shall be done only through online mode, exclusively via a secure link sent by KGMU to the registered email ID and mobile number of the candidate, as provided by the Directorate of Family Welfare, Government of Uttar Pradesh.
3. No application will be accepted via post, in-person submission, or through any offline mode.
4. The examination is open only to candidates registered with the Directorate of Family Welfare, U.P., and whose details are included in the list shared by the Directorate with KGMU. Any correction or update to the candidate’s registered email ID or mobile number must be routed through the Directorate of Family Welfare.
5. Applicants must access the application portal using the official link sent to their registered contact details. No separate registration link will be provided on the website.
6. Upon accessing the portal, candidates can proceed to complete the online application form and remit the applicable examination fee.
7. The examination fee is INR 10,000/- (Ten Thousand Only) for all eligible candidates. This fee is non-refundable and non-transferable under any circumstances.
8. Fee payment must be completed using the integrated payment gateway in the application portal. Candidates may pay using debit card, credit card, or internet banking. Successful payment is a prerequisite for application submission.
9. The completed examination form must be submitted on or before the last date, as notified. No applications will be accepted after the deadline. The examination authority shall not be held responsible for any delays due to last-minute technical issues. Candidates are strongly advised to complete the application process well in advance of the closing date.
10. Once submitted, the examination fee will neither be refunded nor adjusted against any future examination under any circumstances.
11. No physical (paper) copy of the application form is required to be sent to the university.
12. In case you are unable to log in, you may use the “Forgot Password” option available on the login page to reset your password.

Filling-up of Application:
I. Eligible candidate will receive User ID & Password on their registered email ID & Mobile No. click on Click here download City Slip icon as given below and after login , complete Personal Details, Communication details ,Qualification Details, Document Upload & Payment and submission of Fee through Online mode via Debit card, Credit cards or Internet Banking..

STEP-II :Filling-up of Application
d. After registration, candidate may click on Go To Application tab icon at top right corner ,select his category and other mandatory details and complete Personal Details, Qualification Details, Upload photo/signature) and submission of Fee through Online mode via Debit card, Credit cards or Internet Banking through SBI MOPS and through SBI Challan.
e Instructions regarding scanning of Photograph and Signature: Candidates should upload the scanned (digital) image of their photograph and signature in Jpg/jpeg format , as per the process given below:

i. Photograph Image:

  • Photograph must be a recent passport size colour picture on light background (not older than 03 Months).
  • Look straight at the camera with a relaxed face.
  • The size of the scanned image should be up to 100 kb in jpg/ jpeg format only.

ii. Signature image:

  • The applicant has to sign on white paper with Black ink pen.
  • The signature must be signed only by the applicant and not by any other person.
  • Please scan the signature area only and not the entire page.
  • Size of file should be upto 30kb in Jpg/jpeg format only.
f. After uploading Photograph, Signature and related document, click on "Pre-View" tab and check whether particulars filled are correct in all respects. In case of any error, the same can be edited before finally clicking Click on "Submit " tab.Once the application is submitted, candidates automatically will be redirected to SBI MOPS gateway to deposit the fee through Debit Card/Credit Card/Net Banking/SBI Challan etc..
g. Guidelines for remittance of fee are as under:
  • Post submission, the candidate will be re-directed to SBI MOPS gateway to make the online payment of application fees.
  • Kindly verify the details and make the payment for application fees via the different payment modes.
  • After successful payment of application fees, the candidate will be redirected to his application form.

Regarding Multiple Post Recruitment Examination Results – King George’s Medical University (KGMU)
King George’s Medical University (KGMU) hereby informs all candidates who appeared in the Multiple Post Recruitment Examination held on 3rd April 2026 that the evaluation process has been completed following a thorough and transparent review.
All grievances submitted by candidates regarding the questions and answer keys have been carefully examined and addressed. To ensure accuracy and fairness, the University engaged two or more independent subject experts (other than the original paper setters) to review the question papers, MCQs, and answer keys.
Based on the expert validation, the final answer keys have been prepared.
During the review process, certain questions were identified to contain typographical errors or ambiguities in the question statements or answer options. Such questions were cancelled.
To maintain fairness and transparency:
Full marks have been awarded for each cancelled question to all candidates who appeared in the respective paper, irrespective of whether the question was attempted.
Details regarding the number of cancelled questions for each paper are provided in the table below.

1. Question Paper will be 100 MCQ & 120 Min.
2. There will be five groups of 20 Questions and 24 minutes each. One Marks will be awarded for each correct answer, and 1/3 (0.3333) marks will be deducted for each wrong answer. Question Paper has 5-time bound groups as mentioned below

For each cancelled question in the respective papers, one mark was allotted to all candidates who appeared for that specific paper.
Please note:The declared examination scores already incorporate this adjustment and reflect the final, corrected marks.
