Important Information

Read the below instructions carefully, before filling up the form:

  1. Click Here to read the details about the programmes, eligibility criteria, fee structure, and deadlines on the BITS Pilani admissions website.
  2. The last date for submitting the completed application form is 5 PM on June 25, 2024.
  3. You will be required to upload your passport size photograph (50-100 KB), scanned copies of passport (first and last page) or other proof of citizenship (upto 1 MB), Signature (10-100 KB), Grade 12 marks sheet (if available) (Upto 1 MB).
  4. Before filling the form, you need to register with a valid mobile number & Email ID against which a unique application number will be generated. These must remain active until the admission process is completed.
  5. While applying online, do not use the 'Back' button on the tool bar of your browser. Use the links and buttons available on the page itself to move from one page to another.
  6. Once you have filled the application form, please review the application form to make sure that information provided by you is complete and correct in all respect. Please note that incomplete or inappropriately-filled application form is likely to be rejected. Once you submit the application, the application form will be recorded and you will not be allowed to change it thereafter.
  7. After filling and confirming the data entered by you, the final print out page will be displayed. You can keep a print of the submitted online form with you for future references. You have to complete the application form with requisite fee on or before the deadline. Candidates are advised not to wait till the last day. They should complete all the formalities of application well in advance.

  9. The application fee is non-refundable and non-transferable.

The Board toppers in the Science stream (PCM) seeking admission in B.E./M.Sc. should note the following criteria for the selection.

(a). The topper must have taken Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects in 12th class and

(b). He/She must have obtained the highest aggregate percentage of marks in 12th class among all the students who have taken Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects in the Academic Year 2023-24 in their 12th Board examination. To calculate the aggregate percentage, the aggregate marks should include the marks of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects in addition to other subjects required to pass the 12th examination from the Board under consideration. Further, the Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics subject marks should be included in the aggregate, irrespective of whether the Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects are identified as main/optional/elective in his/her marksheet(s).

(c). This offer of admission is open only to the student who has obtained the first rank in the board, as per the announcement by the Board. If more than one candidate have been declared as the first rank holder by a Board, BITS Pilani will offer admission to a maximum of 4 candidates only under this scheme. If there are more than Four candidates declared as First rank holders by a Board, the tie shall be eliminated using the following criteria: I. First, their scores obtained in Mathematics in 12th grade examination will be considered for separating them. II. If the tie still exists, then their scores in Physics in the 12th-grade examination will be considered. III. If the ties still exist, then they will be eliminated using their scores in Chemistry in the 12th-grade examination. IV. If the tie still exists, then the score in Mathematics in the 10th-grade will be considered for separation. V. If the tie still exists, then the score in Science in the 10th-grade will be considered for separation. VI. If the situation warrants, the Admission committee reserves the right to add any additional criteria including a written test, to break the tie. Any such criteria will be announced to the candidates who have applied for admission under this scheme.
